BILLESDON IN THE GREAT WAR

The Billesdon Local History Group announces the publication of:

'Billesdon in the Great War 1914-1918: Personal Histories from a Leicestershire Village'.

The booklet commemorates the men of Billesdon Parish who fought in the conflict and recounts their individual experiences. The booklet also provides the history of the Billesdon War Memorial, the local Volunteers and the Belgian refugees who found shelter in the village.

Copies (£5 ea.) are available in the village shop, Post Office and hairdressers. and from mel@vlaeminke.plus.com
